You can totally use the Runcam Split to replace your FPV camera. The Split camera/lens is connected to a PCB board where the recording electronics and SD card reader are located. You can also connect the Split directly to a VTX so it works just like a FPV camera. We’ve been told the latency is as low as the Eagle which we will verify in our test later on.
The PCB board can be stacked on top of your FC/PDB, which means your HD camera is now full protected inside the quadcopter frame just like the rest of your electronics!
